Yes, you can schedule emails in the PK4Connect app that can be sent automatically to the recipients at a specified time.
You can schedule the email blast only if you are sending the emails through the "PK4Connect app" and not for the campaigns that are sent through Salesforce.
Schedule email from Salesforce Campaign
Go to the Campaigns tab and click the campaign name that you want to schedule the email blast. Then click the PK4Connect Email button and select "Send through PK4Connect Email Services". Now select "Who are the Members to send email to? select Contacts or Leads and click the next button.
You should now select the email template for sending an email blast.
- If you have already created the Email templates for sending an email blast in your Salesforce org, select it from the saved templates.
- If you have not created the templates already, use the pre-designed Templates in the PK4Connect Wizard screen, edit and add the required details you wish to send in the template, and use it for sending an email blast.
- Or, click the "Create My Own" tile and create your own template and use it for sending an email blast.
After you have selected/designed the template for sending emails, enter the template name and email subject and click the next button. Check the details in the "Just some final details" screen.
On the same screen you see a checkbox as Scheduled email, click it. Now add the Date and Time and click the Send Email button. You see a message as the email is scheduled and show the date and time you entered in the scheduled email section.
The emails will be sent automatically as per the time set in the Scheduled email field.
Schedule email from Send Email Blast
Go to the Send Email Blast tab and click it, and click "send through PK4Connect email services". Then select "Who are the Contacts to send email to? select Members of a Campaign or Data/recipients of any object. And all other information in the object setup screen and click the next button.
You should now select the email template for sending an email blast. Select the templates if you have already created the email template or create it using the "Create my Own" tile. And use it for sending the email blast.
After you select/designed the template for sending an email blast, enter the template name and email subject and click the next button. Check the details in the "Just some final details" screen and click the Send Email button to send an email blast.
To schedule the email blast,
Click the "Scheduled Email" and select the Date and Time and click the Send Email button. The app will automatically send the email blast at the time that is set in the Scheduled email field.
You can also send a test email by adding the test IDs in the Send a test email to up to 5 comma-separated IDs field and send a test email before sending the email blast or before scheduling it for later.
