When a user reports to someone else, they can be set up as having that other user as their Reporting Manager. When they submit time details, the Reporting Manager can be asked to approve them.


The delegate is a differnet user who can approve time details on behalf of the Reporting Manager, either all the time or when that Manager is on Vacation. A Delegate can be delegate for multiple Managers at the same time.



There are 2 types of delegates in TimeTracker:

  1. Permanent Delegate
  2. Vacation Delegate.
