Some users may experience an issue where they are unable to access the objects related to the PK4 TimeTracker application.


This issue occurs because the affected users’ profiles do not have access to the required API permissions.


If a user's profile does not include the necessary API permissions, the page will fail to load, or users may encounter an error while accessing it. It can be resolved by assigning a dedicated permission set.


Assign Permission Set to Multiple Users

Follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Setup.
  2. Go to Permission Sets.
  3. Open the permission set named API Enable for PK4 Users. 
  4. Click Manage Assignments.
  5. Click Add Assignments.
  6. Select the checkboxes next to the users who require access.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Assign to complete the process.

Best Practice

It is recommended to assign the API Enable for PK4 Users permission set to all users who use PK4 TimeTracker to prevent similar access issues in the future.
