A TimeTracker (TT) user who also uses Outlook Calendar must be linked to their Outlook email ID. Once linked, the events created by the user in Outlook Calendar will automatically sync with the Calendar Review object in Salesforce, and corresponding TT Details records will be created.
This allows users to track their time automatically without having to enter their time manually in Salesforce.
Steps to Create and Link a TimeTracker User
Navigate to the TT Users tab in Salesforce and click New.
Enter the user details, such as First Name, Last Name, Employee ID, Email ID, and other required information.
Fill in all mandatory fields marked in red.
Locate the Microsoft Outlook Email ID field and enter the user's Outlook email address.
Click Save.
Steps to Create a TimeTracker License
Navigate to the PK4 Licenses tab and click New.
In the License for TT User field, search for and select the TT user created in the previous steps.
Set the PK4 Module to Outlook Sync.
Enter the License Valid From, License Valid Through, and Assigned On dates.
Click Save.
Once the user is created, linked to their Outlook email ID, and assigned the Outlook Sync license, they can use their Outlook ID for creating events and to automatically sync their calendar events with Salesforce.
