The delegate should be added as a Vacation Delegate to the Reporting Manager. This way, whenever the Reporting Manager is on vacation, the Vacation Delegate will have access to the time details of the users and Approve or Reject them.

You should create TimeTracker user ID for Delegates, Reporting Managers, and the TimeTracker users in your org.

  1. The Vacation Delegate should be added only to the Reporting Managers and not to all the TimeTracker users.
  2. When the Reporting Manager has an Approved PTO and is on vacation, the vacation delegate can approve the Time details of the user.

To add the Vacation Delegate

  • Go to the TT Users tab
  • Search the Reporting Manager ID in the user's list,
  • Add the Vacation Delegate name in the "Time Details Vacation Delegate" field and save it
