We would like to bring to your attention an important security measure regarding your TimeTracker application usage.

For security reasons, the login session for the TimeTracker web application is set to expire after 48 hours of inactivity. If there is no user activity within this timeframe, your session will be automatically terminated at the backend. While this is a crucial security feature to protect your data, it may cause inconvenience if you are not aware of the session status.

To ensure the security of your data and prevent any unauthorized access, we strongly recommend logging out of the TimeTracker application every day after you have finished logging your time. By doing so, you actively manage your session and reduce the risk of unauthorized access or changes to your data.

Leaving the application open for an extended period poses a potential security risk, as anyone with access to your device could potentially manipulate your data. By logging out daily, you enhance the overall security posture of your TimeTracker account.

If you fail to log out, and the 48-hour session expires without any activity, attempting to access the application may result in an error, as indicated in the screenshot attached below.

To avoid any disruptions and maintain the highest level of security, we appreciate your cooperation in adopting this daily logout practice.
